Knife Making & Basic Blacksmithing

Weekend Workshop (2 Days)

      • Time: 9:30 AM to 4:30 PM
      • Price- $325- Includes all materials.  Make a high carbon steel knife with wood handle
      • All levels: beginner to intermediate.  No experience necessary.
      • Learn blacksmithing skills and basic knife making.  Complete a small finished knife with a custom wood handle in the 2 days. 
      • Safety and metal working supplies included.
      •  Wear 100% cotton, long pants, closed toe shoes.  
      • Signature on release form required at beginning of class.  
      • Cancellation policy:  75% refund if cancelled within 7 days.  50% refund if cancelled prior to 48 hours before class.

Knife Making & Intro to Blacksmithing

Learn beginning forging techniques to make a knife, bbq tools or artistic pieces.  Create decorative elements such as scrolls, leaves, and flowers in iron and copper.  Beginners and advanced students welcome.  The class will be tailored for individual skill levels and interests.  Hands-on, informative, and fun environment!!

  • Learn basic blacksmithing and metal working techniques.   Skills may include forge, torch, and power equipment.
  • All levels: beginner to intermediate.
    • Beginners: Complete a small project as in a hook or bowl
    • Intermediate students work on independent projects
  • Policies:
    • Wear 100% cotton, long pants, closed toe shoes.  
    • Signature on release form required at beginning of class.
